Last week Ciara called me in the early hours to come and attend another birth. I had met the woman before for an acupuncture appointment so it was easy for me to get into the situation. Together we encouraged the woman to follow her urges. It was beautiful to observe a physiological latent state before pushing as well and in the end we welcomed a 8lb 10oz baby girl. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to all the future homebirth babies!
